Where does Caterman cater?

We cater across San Jose, San Francisco, and the wider San Francisco Bay Area. If you are not sure whether we cover your venue, get in touch and we will let you know.

What types of events do you cater?

Corporate catering, weddings, and private events of every size, from office lunches and conferences to wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, and dinner parties.

How do I get a quote?

Use the Request a Quote form. It walks you through your dates, guest count, and service in a couple of minutes, and our team comes back with a tailored proposal. You can also call or email us directly.

How far in advance should I book?

It depends on the event. Office lunches often need only a few business days, while weddings and large multi-day events are best booked several months ahead. Once you have a date, reach out and we will confirm availability.

Menus & Dietary *

Can you accommodate dietary requirements and allergies?

Yes. We regularly cater for vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs, and we take allergies seriously. Tell us what you need in your enquiry and we will build the menu around it.

Do you offer halal catering?

Yes. Our kitchen is halal-capable and every dish on the menu can be prepared halal, alongside vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Tell us your requirements and we will build the menu around them.

Can we customise the menu?

Every menu is planned around your event, your guests, and the season. We shape it with you rather than hand you a fixed list.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes for weddings. Every wedding starts with a tasting so you can experience the food and finalise the menu with our chef. For other events, ask and we will let you know what is possible.

Service & Logistics *

What service styles do you offer?

Plated, buffet, family-style, stations, and drop-off, plus dessert and bar service where it suits the event. We will recommend the style that fits your venue, timeline, and the feel you want.

Do you provide staff, setup, and cleanup?

Yes. Depending on the service you choose, our team handles delivery, setup, service on the day, and cleanup, so you can focus on your guests.

Do you cater at private homes and external venues?

Yes. We cater in private homes and at venues across the Bay Area, arriving set up and ready and leaving the space as we found it.

Cake & Bar *

Do you provide the cake?

We do not bake or supply the cake itself, but we are happy to handle cake service. Bring in a cake from your own baker and we will take care of the cutting, plating, and serving.

Do you provide alcohol and bar service?

We provide the bartenders and full bar setup, but we do not sell or supply the alcohol. You provide the drinks and our team serves them throughout your event.

Corporate *

Do you offer recurring office lunch catering?

Yes. We run daily and weekly lunch programs for Bay Area teams, with a rotating menu so your office gets variety without the admin.

Can you cater conferences with multiple meals in one day?

Yes. Our enquiry form lets you add breakfast, lunch, breaks, and a reception on the same day, or across multiple days, and we cost each service window separately.

Weddings & Private Events *

How far ahead should we book a wedding?

For Bay Area weddings we recommend nine to twelve months, especially for peak season dates. Once you have a date and rough guest count, get in touch and we will hold a tasting.

Is there a minimum guest count for private events?

We cater intimate gatherings as well as large parties. Share your guest count in the enquiry form and we will tailor a menu and service to suit.
